Now, we're on the lookout for a Facilities Technician to join the team at Strike Bowling, Archie Brothers & Hijinx Hotel in Surfers Paradise - someone who's passionate about people, driven by fun, and ready to create unforgettable experiences.

What You'll Do:

n

n
- Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue
n
- Staying in close contact with your Venue Manager and Facilities support team by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on all maintenance tasks
n
- Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling/amusement activities and venue attractions/devices
n
- Maintaining databases and spare parts
n
- Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety
n
- Working with your Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue
n
- General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs you name it!
n

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the national technical team. What You've Got:

- Natural technical/mechanical aptitude
n
- Proven technical or mechanical experience
n
- Ability to systematically work through complex problems
n
- A willingness to learn and problem solve
n
- A mature, collaborative and positive approach to your work
n
- An ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team
n
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems
n
