Reporting into the Finance Manager and based out of their Bunbury offices, the key scope of this role includes:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Provide insights on financial performance to stakeholders.
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, including operations team.
- Dealing with site and WIP accounting.
- People leadership of 1 x Assistant Accountant.
The successful candidate will possess the following traits:
- CA/CPA Qualified (desired).
- Prior experience working within a projects-based or operational environment.
- Exposure to budgeting & forecasting.
- People leadership/mentorship exposure.Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (site based).
