This is a part‑time position of 28–32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with shifts rostered between 8:00am and 6:00pm. There is no weekend work. Additional hours may occasionally be available to cover leave, with the chance for the role to grow into a full‑time position as our practice continues to grow.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be one of the friendly faces our patients see when they arrive, helping to make their experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

We’re a busy practice, so the phone can be lively! You’ll need to be comfortable managing a high volume of calls and patient enquiries while keeping things calm and organised.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating with doctors, sonographers,

nurses and other staff to keep the day running smoothly
- Processing payments and other administrative tasks
- Maintaining a welcoming, organised and professional reception area

What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, friendly and professional manner
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and multi‑tasking skills
- Experience with medical practice software (Gentu preferred)
- Confidence using general office technology
- An empathetic and professional approach to supporting women throughout their healthcare journey.
- Most importantly, a great team player who is happy to pitch in and help others

What we offer

We’re proud of the team we’ve built. We work hard, look out for each other, have plenty of laughs and seem to attract a never‑ending supply of sweets!

You’ll enjoy a supportive team environment, competitive remuneration, Monday‑Thursday hours, no weekend work and the opportunity to work in a growing specialised women’s health practice.

We are a leading provider of specialised women's healthcare and imaging in the Newcastle region. Our experienced team is committed to providing personalised, evidence‑based care and support to women.
