Our head office is set on a unique semi-rural acreage property in Collingwood Park, surrounded by expansive, lush green grounds that are carefully maintained to create a welcoming workplace for our clients, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our small team full-time.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beautiful grounds, and buildings to ensure they remain in clean, safe, and operating conditions. By carrying out on-site maintenance and outdoor duties, you will directly contribute to meaningful employment outcomes for the local community.

- Mow, edge and maintain lawns using ride-on mowers.
- Prune, trim and maintain hedges, shrubs and trees.
- Carry out general grounds maintenance, including weed control, garden bed upkeep, leaf and debris removal, and maintaining pathways and outdoor areas.




- Use high-pressure cleaning equipment to maintain outdoor surfaces, pathways, buildings and other facilities.
- Assist with the set-up and pack-down of events, including moving furniture, marquees, equipment and other items as required.
- Perform minor maintenance and basic repairs, such as replacing fixtures, painting touch-ups and other general handyman tasks.
- Conduct routine equipment checks, perform basic maintenance and report any faults or repairs required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

- Experience operating ride-on mowers, particularly Toro Zero Turn mowers.
- Competency using grounds maintenance equipment.
- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience (preferred 1 year of experience).
- The ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Permanent Australian work rights or an appropriate visa.
- A valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- The ability to pass a National Police Check.
