About Our Client

Glencore's Hail Creek Mine is a leading open cut coal operation located 120 kilometres south‑west of Mackay in the Bowen Basin, Central Queensland. What You Will Be Doing

- Completing a Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations
- Participating in structured training and assessment
- Learning to operate mining equipment in a production environment
- Following site safety procedures and operational requirement
- Working alongside experienced operators and trainers
- Contributing to production activities within a high-performing team

What You Will Need

- Previous experience in civil operating or farming desirable
- Strong and secure work history
- Commitment to building a long-term career in mining
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to successfully complete:




- Standard 11
- Coal Board Medical
- Pre‑employment Medical
- Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Must reside within 200km of Hail Creek, including:
- Mackay
- Nebo
- Surrounding areas
- Availability to attend an Assessment Centre in Mackay on Monday 14 September from 9:00am to 3:00pm
