Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out routine civil maintenance tasksacrossdifferent teams including road pavements, drainage, signage, fencing, boardwalks, and rapid response

- Completing work safely, efficiently and to a high standard under the direction of the Maintenance Crew Team Leader

- Operating and maintaining plant, tools and equipment safely and effectively

- Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and team-focused work environment

- Using systems to action work orders, record defects and support maintenance programs

- Following all Workplace Health & Safety requirements and reporting hazards or risks promptly.

Skills and experience:

- Experience in civil construction, concrete works, drainage, or similar tradeshighly desirable but not essential

- Candidates withtransferable skillsfrom labouring, landscaping, parks/gardens, trades assistant roles, or other hands‑on environments areencouragedto apply

- Practical problem‑solving skills and the ability to work safely in outdoor and fast‑paced environments

- Ability to follow instructions,



work both autonomously and as part of a small team

- Good level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions

From September 2026, the team will participate in an 8-day fortnight trial, providing a four‑day weekend every second week. A permanent transition to a 36.25-hour work week is planned for November 2026.

Eligibility:

- You'll hold current C Class Drivers Licence.

- You'll have the ability to participate in the after‑hours on‑call roster, including remote response and site‑related operations on weekends and public holidays.

- To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.

Level 5 (in addition to the above)

- You'll have a minimum of3 years' experience in the relevant field.

- You'll hold an Medium Rigid (MR) Licence & plant operator tickets or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence.

- You'll hold a Certificate II in Civil Construction or equivalent.
