We are looking for a warm, skilled and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our team in a part-time - weekdays.
The role will be based across the Hospital’s Main Reception and Specialist Suites, providing a varied and rewarding opportunity to work with patients, specialists and the wider hospital team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital by performing a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet and greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Answer and manage phone calls efficiently, directing them to the appropriate departments.
Input and update theatre lists accurately.
Liaise with specialist rooms to coordinate patient care and appointments.
Process payments and daily banking.
Prepare and organise patient charts and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a Hospital or in a similar administrative role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using computer systems and medical software.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
