AbouttheRole

WeareseekingaWHSEQSpecialisttosupportourQueenslandoperations.ReportingtotheWHSEQNationalGeneralManagerbasedinWA,youwillplayakeyroleindrivingcompliance,strengtheningsafetyculture,andensuringtheeffectivenessofourHealth&SafetyManagementSystem.;

Responsibilities

- EnsurecompliancewithWHS/OHSlegislationandregulatoryrequirements
- Audithazardousmaterialsstorageandhandling,identifyinggapsandimplementingimprovements
- Coordinatestatutoryhealthmonitoringofpersonnel
- Facilitateandtracksafetytrainingrequirementsacrossdepartments
- Reviewingevacuationproceduresandemergencyplan




- Conductingemergencydrillsandsiteevacuations
- Leadincidentandhazardinvestigations,ensuring:
- High-qualityinvestigationstandards
- Promoteastrongsafety-firstcultureacrossthebusiness

Qualifications

- Diploma(orhigher)inOccupationalHealth&Safetyorrelateddiscipline;
- Backgroundinmanufacturing,productionortransportindustry

RequiredSkills

- Provenabilitytointerpretsafetylegislationandcommunicateitinclear,practicaltermstoemployeesatalllevels
- Abilitytobuildstrongworkingrelationshipsacrossalllevelsofthebusiness
- Experienceinmonitoringincidentandhazardinvestigations,withtheabilitytoclearlycommunicatefindingsandrecommendations
