Private Retreat seeking Client Support Specialist

The Bardo Health and Wellness – Pimpama QLD

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining client support, hospitality, transport, administration and the day‑to‑day presentation of a retreat. You will work closely with clients and a multidisciplinary team to help ensure each client's daily needs are met and that their stay runs smoothly. The right person will be warm, calm and compassionate, but also proactive, organized, and willing to notice what needs doing and get it done.

Key responsibilities

Supporting clients with daily routines, including breakfast, general day‑to‑day needs, self‑administration of medication in accordance with organisational procedures

Assist the chef in setting table for meals and clean up afterwards

Preparing nutritional supplements as directed by the appropriate practitioner

Helping clients remain organised and punctual for therapies, appointments, programs and activities

Building professional rapport with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries

Creating a calm, positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout communal areas

Maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of shared areas, including the kitchen, verandas, pool area and outdoor spaces

Managing daily client laundry and assisting with practical household tasks

Preparing therapy rooms so they are clean, secure and ready for scheduled sessions

Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, recreational outings and other approved activities

Provide clients with 'bonus sessions' such as meditation, education, client specific support.

About you





Previous experience in a support worker, client support, hospitality, or similar role

Experience working with people with diverse support needs

A minimum Certificate III or IV in a relevant field

Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain these

A current driver's licence and confidence transporting clients when required

Relevant worker screening, such as a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain the required checks

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A compassionate, respectful and non-judgmental approach

Good professional boundaries and a robust commitment to privacy and confidentiality

The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
