About the Role

Peaky’s Bar and Cocktails is a quick-paced, high-energy 1920s-themed establishment specializing in premium mixology, live music, and private functions. We are looking for an autonomous, trustworthy, and energetic bartender who can step up to manage frontline operations. This is not just a drink-pouring role, you will be trusted with the keys, the cash, and the floor culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Cocktail Mastery: Mix, shake, and present complex designer cocktails quickly and accurately during peak high-volume rushes.
- Operational Control: Confidently manage absolute opening and closing procedures, ensuring the venue is secure, locked down, and meticulously clean.




- Financial Accountability: Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle safe cash drops, balance registers, and manage end-of-night float reconciliations.
- Atmosphere Management: Keep the vibes high, maintain standard responsible service of alcohol (RSA) limits, and handle crowd dynamics calmly.

What You Need

- Proven Experience: Minimum 1-2 years working in a high-volume cocktail bar or fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Absolute Trustworthiness: Demonstrated history of managing financial floats and holding keyholder responsibilities.
- Valid Credentials: A current, verified Tasmanian-approved RSA Certificate.
- Flexible Availability: Complete availability across late-night Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shift brackets.
