Relationship Executive Acquisitions - Broker (Agribusiness & Small Business)

Within SBB, our Acquisitions team partners with accredited commercial brokers to bring recent customers to CommBank. We work closely with brokers to understand their clients’ businesses, structure the right lending solutions and deliver a great experience from application through to funding.
Based in Brisbane, you’ll join a team focused exclusively on the broker channel, originating recent-to-bank lending opportunities up to $3M across Agribusiness and diversified small business customers.
Agribusiness lending experience is essential for this role. While you don’t need to be working exclusively in Agribusiness currently, you must have demonstrated experience in assessing and structuring lending for agricultural businesses.

As a Relationship Executive Acquisitions, you’ll use your Agribusiness lending expertise alongside your relationship and business development skills to build broker partnerships, win new customers and deliver quality lending outcomes.
More specifically, you will:
Build and grow strong relationships with accredited commercial brokers and intermediaries
Identify and convert new-to-bank Agribusiness and diversified business lending opportunities
Assess and structure business lending applications up to $3M
Complete credit assessments and financial analysis across Agribusiness and SME customers
Apply your understanding of agricultural cash flows, seasonality, operating cycles and risk when assessing and structuring lending
Partner closely with Credit and Risk to progress quality lending opportunities
Manage deals from application through to approval and funding
Deliver a responsive and consistent experience for brokers and their customers
Identify broader customer needs and connect them with specialists across CommBank
We’re interested in hearing from people who:
Strong commercial credit assessment and financial analysis capability
An understanding of agricultural businesses, including cash flow cycles, seasonality and financing requirements
Experience structuring lending solutions for Agribusiness and SME customers
Strong relationship management and business development capability
Experience working with commercial brokers or intermediaries, or the ability to build productive referral relationships
Confidence working across brokers, customers, Credit and internal stakeholders
The ability to take ownership of lending opportunities from origination through to settlement
