Sunshine Coast Psychology Clinic – Sippy Downs QLD

Due to ongoing growth and increased demand for our clinic services, we are now seeking to add a recent team member that is a passionate and dedicated Psychologist to join us at Sunshine Coast Psychology Clinic in our Sippy Downs location. This part-time role (with potential to increase to a full time role if desirable) is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing high-quality psychological services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Working autonomously with full admin support, conducting comprehensive psychological therapy interventions and developing personalised treatment plans for clients

Providing evidence-based support, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, to help clients achieve their goals

Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with professional and ethical standards

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients

Contributing to the growth and development of the clinic through participation in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum of 2 years' experience is desirable, although we can also provide on going support and mentoring for new graduates who recently achieved their full registration, providing psychological services in a private practice clinical setting

Strong clinical skills,



including the ability to conduct assessments if required (not essential as we have a dedicated team of assessment clinician specialists) and deliver evidence-based interventions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to client care

Desirable but not essential, EMDR and experience working with trauma and complex client presentations.
