Sunshine State Solar & Electrical is looking for experienced, driven sales professionals who know how to build rapport, control a sales conversation, handle objections, follow up properly and ask for the sale.

We provide the leads.
We provide the products.
We provide the systems, technical support and installation teams.

You bring the ability to sell.

This isn’t an order‑taking role and it isn’t a position for someone who sends a quote, follows up with an email and waits for the customer to call back.

We’re looking for salespeople who pick up the phone, build relationships, understand what the customer actually needs and confidently close.

The Role

Based from our Gold Coast office, you’ll sell premium solar, battery and energy solutions to homeowners.

You’ll manage opportunities from the initial consultation through to proposal, follow-up and close, with qualified leads provided by the business.

Your job is to turn those opportunities into customers.

You’ll be expected to:

Conduct high‑quality phone consultations

Build genuine rapport and uncover customer needs

Recommend appropriate solar and battery solutions

Present proposals and confidently communicate value

Handle price and competitor objections

Ask for the sale and secure the close

Follow up consistently and with purpose

Maintain an organised and accurate CRM pipeline

Work closely with our technical and operations teams





Take ownership of your individual sales results

Consistently work towards and exceed sales targets

Who We’re Looking For

Solar experience is an advantage, but it isn’t essential.

We can teach you solar and batteries.

We want someone who already knows how to sell.

You may come from solar, automotive, finance, insurance, telecommunications, property, high‑ticket retail or another target‑driven sales environment.

You’ll ideally have:

Demonstrated success in phone, consultative or high‑ticket sales

Excellent objection‑handling ability

Confidence speaking with customers over the phone

Strong follow‑up and pipeline discipline

Experience working with a CRM

A competitive and results‑driven mindset

Personal accountability for your numbers

The ability to take coaching and implement feedback quickly

The motivation to earn well above a standard salary

You should be comfortable working in an environment where performance is measured and expectations are clear.
