CorrWear is a thriving corrosion and wear solutions specialist company located in Wollongong. We specialise in the provision of industrial tiling and protective coatings for structural steelwork for both the mining and steel sectors, our customers include BlueScope Steel and GM3. With a safety-first mentality this is a diverse role, and you will be an important member of a team that's been successfully working in the Illawarra for over 20 years.
Key responsibilities
Assist in the surface preparation of steel works including grinding and abrasive blasting, cutting of ceramic tiles and operation of brick saws, set up of electrical tools
Assist with the mixing and application of epoxy adhesives and coatings
Assist tradesmen by performing duties related to industrial tiling
Assist and perform confined space entry and gas monitoring
Transport materials, tools, and supplies as required to and from site
Drive vehicles as required plus loading and unloading
Secure use of power, hand tools, and equipment
About you
Safety-first mentality, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and productive workspace
Preferably you have substantiated a minimum 1-3 years' experience in similar roles
You are a strong team player
You are proactive and demonstrate good timekeeping and reliability
You have a solid demonstrated commitment to safety
