WHAT YOU WILL DO

n

Depending on your experience level, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of audit and assurance engagements, including:

n

n
- Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion
n
- Performing external audit procedures and evaluating audit risks
n
- Understanding and testing internal control procedures
n
- Preparing audit planning, risk response and completion documentation
n
- Providing technical audit and assurance advice to clients and stakeholders
n
- Assisting clients with the application of accounting standards and policies
n
- Preparing and reviewing General Purpose Financial Reports
n
- Coordinating with clients and internal team members throughout engagements
n
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development
n
- Assisting with special projects and advisory opportunities
n

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

n





We are interested in hearing from Audit Intermediates who have:

n

n
- 2–4 years' experience in professional services, with a focus on Audit and Assurance
n
- Experience working with a range of clients, including larger client groups and more complex structures
n
- Understanding of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Auditing Standards (AuASB)
n
- Experience conducting audit procedures and preparing audit documentation
n
- A commitment to high-quality client service and ethical professional practice
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
n
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
n

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar qualification
n
- Completed or be progressing towards CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
n
- Experience with accounting and audit software including Caseware, Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks
n

n
