Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, require the services of a Release Train Engineer (EL1 equivalent).
Duties of the Release Train Engineer:
- Facilitate Scaled Agile ceremonies such as PI planning and retrospectives;
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to manage the Release Train backlog and define the ART roadmap using tools like JIRA;
- Define ART scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria with Delivery Directors. Develop and align ART schedules and product backlog to support reform delivery;
- Mentor Scrum Masters in Agile practices, resolving blockers and supporting cross-team collaboration while fostering a positive team culture aligned with corporate values.
Skills required:
- 8-10 years’ experience establishing and managing the delivery of technical ICT system delivery projects uusing Scaled Agile Methodology, including cloud-based solutions;
- Strong knowledge of project management and governance frameworks in Federal Government settings;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and recognized project management certifications (e.g., Diploma of Project Management or SAFe Agile);
- Experience with Salesforce system delivery, Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence) highly desirable.
