Due to continued growth, C2C Mine Maintenance is looking for an Equipment Compliance Officer to join our team.
This is a floating role working approximately three days per week on site and two days in town. The position will involve completing equipment compliance inspections and brake testing across a range of mining and heavy equipment.
The role would suit a trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or Motor Mechanic with mining experience who is looking to step away from full time tools while remaining involved in the industry.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing mechanical compliance inspections
- Conducting brake testing
- Identifying and reporting equipment defects
- Communicating inspection results with clients and our internal team
- Working across both site and town-based operations
- Managing your workload and working independently
- Full training will be provided, including brake-testing training where required.

About You
- Previous coal mining, civil or remote-site experience
- Good mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using an iPad and digital reporting systems
- Able to work independently
- Willing to travel to different sites when required
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
- Previous compliance or brake-testing experience would be an advantage; however, it is not essential, as training will be provided.
