An excellent opportunity for a full-time Bookkeeper to join a growing team. You will manage financial operations including accounts payable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and management reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Data entry: weekly processing including payroll, bank recs, accounts payable, accounts receivables, DTS.
- Reconciliations: weekly reconciliations including bank recs, clearing accounts, loans.
- Client reporting: prepare reconciliations and financial reporting for clients within required reporting timeframes.
- Reporting: weekly reporting including snapshots, GL.
- Supporting data: ensure back up correspondence is accessible on SharePoint.
- Workflow and communication: manage workflow and priorities using systems such as Asana and communicate effectively with team members and managers via Teams and email to support timely completion of work.
- Ensure accuracy and accountability by reviewing work throughout the week and meeting deadlines or communicating with manager to request an extension.
- Complete administrative requirements including timesheets and inbox management.
About you
- A Degree or Diploma in Accounting
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise competing tasks
- The ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A positive, team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Experience with Xero and/or MYOB will be highly regarded
