Position Title: Trade Qualified Boilermaker

Employment Type: Casual (could lead to full time) – Onsite

Location: Near Townsville, QLD

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

About the Role

We are seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker to join our onsite team for casual (could lead to full time) work involving heavy fabrication, repairs, and maintenance. The position is based close to Townsville, Ayr & Charters Towers and involves both day and night shift work as required.

You will be part of a skilled and supportive team delivering high-quality fabrication and maintenance services across a range of industrial and site-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform heavy fabrication, repairs and maintenance to mining equipment and infrastructure.

- Carry out maintenance and shutdown work to required standards and timeframes.

- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications accurately.

- Work effectively as part of a team, following direction from supervisors and leading others when required.

- Adhere to all safety procedures and site requirements.

- Maintain tools, equipment,



and work areas in a clean and protected condition.

Requirements

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent).

- Experience in heavy fabrication, repairs, and maintenance.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to spend periods away from home as required for site work.

- Flexibility to work day and night shifts.

- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

- Current driver’s licence (manual preferred).
