Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care in inpatient and community settings

- Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments

- Develop, implement, and evaluate recovery-focused care plans

- Administer and monitor medications safely and effectively

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams





- Support consumers experiencing acute mental health presentations

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Promote patient safety, wellbeing, and recovery outcomes

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Minimum of one year's experience in Mental Health Nursing

- Experience in Acute Mental Health, Community Mental Health, or Psychiatric Nursing

- Current National Police Check

- Working With Children Check where required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
