Ezi Loads is seeking an experienced HC Linehaul Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a critical position within our Road Transport operations, based in Eagle Farm, QLD 4009. As an HC Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across regional and interstate routes, playing a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their deliveries on time and in excellent condition. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and reputation of our logistics network.

Key responsibilities

- Operate Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles safely and professionally on linehaul routes between distribution centres and regional locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is roadworthy and report any mechanical issues immediately
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation in compliance with transport regulations and company requirements
- Adhere strictly to fatigue management rules and work hour limitations as mandated by legislation
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured and unloaded according to safety standards and company procedures
- Drive defensively and maintain the highest safety standards to protect yourself, colleagues, and the public
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams and other drivers to coordinate efficient delivery schedules
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Ezi Recruitment positively with customers and the public
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to maintain a clean driving record

What we're looking for

- Valid Heavy Combination (HC) or Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence with a current Australian driver's licence
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating HC vehicles in a linehaul or long-distance transport role
- Comprehensive knowledge of fatigue management legislation and transport regulations
- Clean driving record with no major traffic infringements or at-fault accidents




- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet tight delivery schedules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers
- High level of safety consciousness and commitment to best practice procedures
- Ability to work independently whilst remaining part of a collaborative team environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early starts and overnight routes as required
- Current medical certificate as required under transport regulations
- Preferred: Experience with GPS systems and digital logbooks
