About the role
We want to foster a cooperative team environment and are devoted to empowering our team to provide exceptional patient care.
Successful applicants will perform all aspects of managing surgical bookings, including coordinating a team of neurosurgeons, assistant surgeons and anaesthetists. Liaising with practice management and theatre staff, and concierge activities to optimise the patient experience.
Skills and experience
Experience with Healthtrack or a similar software program is desirable but not essential. Applicants also require:
Handling complex surgical procedure quotations.
Sending accurate information to patients
Scheduling theatre bookings, coordinating anaesthetists, assistants, equipment and hospital bookings
Billing outpatient appointments and surgical procedures
Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills
A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as having the initiative to work autonomously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient typing and computer skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Offsite self-funded car parking is available.
