TRACKS Integrated Services is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their team for an initial 3-month assignment in the Northern Territory.
This is a BIBO (Bus In/Bus Out) opportunity from Darwin, with multiple roster options available.
About the opportunity
You’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, working as part of an experienced team with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Roster options
All roster options are based on 12-hour shifts:
- Monday to Friday - with Monday and Friday public holidays off
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- 14 days on / 7 days off
What you’ll be doing
- Servicing, repairing and replacing RAC units from 2.7kW to 6kW
- Servicing split systems from 2.5kW to 14kW
- Working on building package air conditioners from 45kW to 113kW
- Servicing ice machines, water coolers and chillers
- Servicing air dryers
- Finding and fixing mechanical and electrical faults
- Following site safety procedures
- Keeping accurate service records
- Working well with the wider team
What you’ll need
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Current RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence
- CPR and Low Voltage Rescue completed within the last 12 months
- Current and valid driver's licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
