The Construction Project Manager will work on construction projects in the health sector, managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation through to completion. This role requires demonstrated familiarity and experience working with the standard GC21 Contract. This role has a salary of $95,000 plus superannuation.
Key responsibilities
Manage project programme and allocated resources across all phases of the project life cycle
Manage project budget, risks and variation development and negotiation, escalating when necessary
Develop and distribute all key project meeting minutes in a timely manner
Ensure project governance according to Client requirements, including GC21
Manage project consultants such as architect, engineer, QS and similar according to agreed deliverables
Manage all stages of the Head Contractor Tender process
Manage all authority approvals as necessary
About you
Minimum of 3 years of Construction Project Management experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of construction/architecture experience specifically within the Healthcare Sector
Solid understanding of the phases of the construction project life cycle
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other similar project management tools and applications
Experience in managing and reporting project budgets, programmes and risks
Solid stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Demonstrable experience working with the NSW State Government GC21 Contract is essential for this position
Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Architecture or Engineering are ideal
Prepared to travel to project sites which might entail overnight stays
