- You will performthe duties of the company “Operator” as per Queensland statutoryrequirements
- Represent Elgas with QLD regulators (DNRME, WHSQ includingHICB) is required and to provideleadership and ensure compliance to MHF requirements for Lytton andPinkenba MHF sites
- In this role you will maintainand drive compliance to the Linde and statutory requirements
- You will ensure all incidents and near misses are reported and improvement actions completed
- Toensure training requirements are met for all employees andcontractors is rqired by you and to managedepot operations to better than budgeted unit costs whilst meetingindustry and regulator safety and customer service standards
- You will improveprofitability through benchmarking, reviewing operations to ensure bestoperating costs
- ManageCapex submissions and implementation
- In addition you will leadprojects and facilitate resources as required by the business
- Completeand submit a monthly report as per agreed timetable
What makes you excellent
- TertiaryQualification in an engineering / technical or operationsmanagement
- 5years+ in LPG / Petroleum Industry or Multi-Site Management
- MHFexperience (highly regarded)
- You have experiencemanaging relationships with regulators and external stakeholders (highlyregarded)
- Experiencein cost management is a plus
- Depot/ operations management with cost accountability
- You have a good understandingof OH&S; legislation and requirements in the workplace
- Influencing,negotiation and conflict resolution skills are required
- You have skills in process/ project improvement
- Changemanagement is necesssary
