Friendly Care Management is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our store operations in Sandgate, QLD 4017. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to manage a dynamic retail environment, drive sales performance, and create an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store management, including staff leadership, inventory control, visual merchandising, and achieving sales targets. Your strategic approach to retail management will be integral to the success of our store and the wider Friendly Care Management brand.

Key responsibilities

Lead, motivate and develop a team of retail staff, ensuring high performance standards and excellent customer service delivery

Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and stock management

Monitor and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators, implementing strategies to drive revenue growth

Oversee visual merchandising and store layout to maximise customer engagement and sales opportunities in conjunction with Friendly Care Management

Maintain stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability

Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly

Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards throughout the store

Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Train and mentor staff members,



fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting their professional development

Support the Pharmacy Manager to manage budgets and control costs to ensure profitability of the store

What we're looking for

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role within a retail environment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create positive customer experiences

Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, point-of-sale systems, and merchandising

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with retail management software and computer systems

Health and safety awareness and commitment to maintaining compliance standards

Flexibility and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required

Qualification in retail management, business administration, or a related field is desirable
