We have multiple positions ranging from Permanent Part time to Casual. If you're committed to delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support and have experience working with individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and psychosocial/mental health disabilities, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties & responsibilities
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering participants to live independently, achieve their goals, and engage fully within their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised, one-on-one support tailored to individual goals and support plans
- Support participants with ASD, psychosocial disabilities, and other support needs
- Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and community access
- Support emotional regulation, routines, life skills development,
and capacity building
- Facilitate social, recreational, and community participation activities
- Build strong, trusting, and skilled relationships with participants
- Collaborate with allied health professionals and other stakeholders to ensure holistic care
- Advocate for participant choice, independence, and inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in line with organisational requirements
About You
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Respectful and committed to person-centred practice
- Confident supporting individuals with ASD and mental health challenges
- Passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals
- Able to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative team
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current enrolment in Certificate III in Individual Support is acceptable
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance suitable for work purposes
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and person-centred support practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting people with ASD and psychosocial/mental health disabilities
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting people with ASD and psychosocial/mental health disabilities
Desired Experience
Minimum 1–2 years' experience within the disability support sector
