Team Leader - Facilities

- Permanent full-time
- 35 hours a week + Variable day off (VDO) every 19-days
- Flexible working arrangements (WFH Opportunities)
- Salary: $82,918.16 - $96,364.07 + 12% Superannuation per annum

Lead Council’s facilities cleaning operations, supporting a high-performing team and contracted providers to deliver safe, clean and well-maintained facilities that meet the needs of our community and organisation.

What You'll Do

As our Team Leader - Facilities you'll report to the Supervisor Facilities Maintenance and lead and coordinate the delivery of Council'sinternal and contracted facilities cleaning functions, ensuring buildings areclean, safe, accessible and available for community and organisational use. You'll provide operational leadership to internal cleaning staff and oversightof contract cleaners, ensuring service standards, customer outcomes andcompliance requirements are consistently achieved.

What You'll Need (Essential Criteria)

- Already hold orwillingness to obtain tertiary qualifications in, Cleaning Operations, FacilitiesManagement or relevant discipline.
- Demonstratedexperience in facilities management, cleaning services, customer service or arelated operational environment
- Proven ability tosupervise staff and coordinate service delivery across multiple sites.
- Experience overseeingcontractors or service providers in a facilities or cleaning context
- Strong organisationaland communication skills with a customer focused approach.
- Sound understandingof WHS, hygiene standards and secure work practices
- Competence in usingscheduling and reporting systems
- Current Class CDriver's Licence
- Certificate III/IV inCleaning Operations or Facilities Management
- Certificate IV inProcurement and Contracting
- Certificate IV inLeadership and Management
- Chemical awarenessand handling training
