Stanthorpe Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its maternity team on a four-week contract from September to early October 2026. Preferred Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Demonstrated experience in midwifery group practice models
- Competence in foetal surveillance and interpretation of cardiotocography
- Practical cannulation skills and experience in intravenous access
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary maternity team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by NMBA
- Current Foetal Surveillance Education certification or willingness to complete accreditation
- First Aid and CPR certification current at the time of commencement
