We are currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders for workshop-based work in the Logan region. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with competitive rates and immediate starts available.
Key Responsibilities
- FCAW (Flux Core) welding of carbon steel pipe
- Fabrication and welding of pipe spools from 1" to 30"
- Reading and interpreting isometric and workshop drawings
- Maintaining weld quality to project and inspection requirements
- Working safely and efficiently within a fabrication workshop environment
- Collaborating with pipe fitters, boilermakers and workshop supervisors
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification in Engineering Fabrication or similar
- Proven experience welding carbon steel pipe
- Strong FCAW (Flux Core) welding skills
- Experience working from fabrication drawings and weld procedures
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
- Experience with heavy industrial, water, infrastructure or process piping projects
