About the Role
As a Casual Registered or Permanent Part Time Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred clinical care, supporting residents' health and wellbeing, and leading care staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to residents.
- Administer medications and monitor clinical outcomes.
- Complete clinical assessments, care plans, and documentation.
- Respond to changes in residents' health conditions.
- Supervise and support Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses.
- Communicate effectively with residents,
families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals.
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in aged care, community care, or a related healthcare setting (preferred).
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (if required).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (desirable).
