Pro Step Landscaping is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated 1st‑Year Landscaping Apprentice who’s ready to kickstart their career in a high‑standards, fast‑moving environment. You’ll work alongside experienced operators on premium residential landscaping projects across NSW, learning the foundations of structural landscaping from day one.
We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking and eager to build strong trade skills while contributing to a professional, well‑run team.
About the Role
As a 1st‑Year Apprentice, you’ll be trained and supported across all core areas of landscaping, including:
- Assisting with construction of retaining walls, paving, turfing and garden builds
- Learning safe and confident use of hand tools, power tools and small machinery
- Supporting site preparation, clean‑ups, material handling and daily setup/pack‑down
- Working within Pro Step’s quality, safety and communication standards
- Developing foundational landscaping skills with clear progression pathways
This role is hands‑on,
outdoors and suited to someone who wants to learn the trade properly, from experienced operators who take pride in their work.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently seeking or enrolled in a 1st‑Year Landscaping Apprenticeship
- Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a structured workflow
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Positive attitude and pride in workmanship
- White Card required
- Driver’s licence preferred
No prior landscaping experience is required — just commitment, consistency and the right attitude.
