The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Regional and Agribusiness Banking. This pivotal role is at the forefront of the company's ambitious journey, serving as the operational engine that drives the execution of the leadership team's strategy. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor, ensuring that the frontline can operate effectively and that operational execution excellence is maintained across change management, financial insights, and strategic initiative development.

The COO will also be responsible for managing large-scale change programs, coaching senior executives, and representing the company's interests in business banking working groups.



Applicants for the COO position must have exceptional stakeholder management and senior engagement skills, a deep understanding of regional Australia, and proven experience in managing and sustaining end-to-end, large-scale change programs. The role requires a leader with outstanding communication, influencing skills, and a highly consultative, cooperative, and people-focused leadership style.

While not essential, knowledge of business banking strategy, systems, processes, and policies is highly regarded. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of driving support for business growth, and customer relationships, and ensuring that risk obligations are met. This is a high-influence, complex role that demands a leader ready to operate at a significant level of breadth and complexity, and who is energized by being the key support for the leadership team.
