About the Role
Working alongside an experienced and collaborative design team, you'll help deliver residential projects from concept through to approval and construction documentation. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, contribute to innovative home designs, and play a key role in delivering quality outcomes for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Produce high-quality architectural documentation using ArchiCAD
- Prepare construction and approval documentation for residential projects
- Assist with design development from concept through to final documentation
- Ensure drawings comply with NCC, NSW Planning requirements and relevant Development Control Plans
- Coordinate documentation with internal estimating, construction, and sales teams
- Review drawings for accuracy and minimise rework
- Manage project documentation and revisions throughout the design process
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of residential design standards and processes
About you
- Degree or Diploma qualification in Architecture, Building Design, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in residential drafting or building design
- Advanced ArchiCAD experience
- Strong understanding of NCC/BCA and residential construction requirements
- Excellent documentation and detailing skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach and passion for practical, creative solutions
- The willingness to connect with customers to guide and educate them during the design process
