As our team continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team. With a number of projects already in the works for 2027, A&H; Engineering is looking to expand its Design Team working with a skilled and motivated qualified who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires underground and overhead design for new subdivisions across Queensland. The ideal applicant will be working on concept plans, master planning, detailed design right through to providing construction ready plans. This is an exciting role which would suit someone who would welcome the opportunity to use their skills in a close-knit team, delivering projects across Queensland.
Key responsibilities
Design of Energex underground and overhead networks
Street lighting design under Rate 2 and Council Rate 3 requirements
Production of concept and masterplans for subdivision projects
Carry out QA of drawing ensuring compliance and validation with Australian Standards
Develop design documents, HV and LV schematics, lighting drawings and schedules ensuring they conform to all safety, environmental, construction, commissioning, and operating requirements
About you
4+ years electrical design experience working within the Energex and or Ergon areas
Experience working with AGI32 Lighting Design/ Proficient with LV Drop
Experience in AUTOCAD functions
NBN Pit & Path design preferred but not essential
Understanding of Energex/Ergon Underground Manual and all relevant Standards
Ability to create drawings in .dwg or similar
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
