Senior Personal Injury Lawyer | Workers' Compensation & Public Liability

A rare opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Personal Injury Litigator with strong expertise across Workers' Compensation and Public Liability matters.

This role will suit a senior lawyer, with at least 10 years post admission experience, who is confident running complex plaintiff matters through the later stages of litigation and who has the advocacy experience to appear without routinely briefing Counsel.

Offering a package of $300,000 – $400,000 + super, together with remote working flexibility, this is an prospect to take on high-level litigation work with significant autonomy.

The Role

You will:

- Manage complex Workers' Compensation and Public Liability matters
- Take carriage of files from compulsory conference and mediation through to trial
- Conduct your own advocacy and court appearances where appropriate
- Develop case strategy and provide high-level advice on complex claims
- Prepare and conduct compulsory conferences and mediations
- Work autonomously with responsibility for progressing matters through litigation

About You





- Strong Workers' Compensation and Public Liability expertise
- 10 + years PAE - Candidates at the Senior Associate or Special Counsel level will be considered
- Proven experience running matters through compulsory conference, mediation and trial
- Confidence appearing in court and undertaking advocacy without relying on Counsel
- Strong negotiation and case strategy skills
- The ability to independently manage complex and high-value matters
