About the Role

As Customer Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for handling communications with customers through the journey of their purchase, from initial enquiry and sales, through to the manufacturing and delivery process, and into post-delivery customer support and warranty.

This is not an IT position, customer liaison and relationship management is the key component of the role. However, experience in implementation of CRM systems will be favourably considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle inbound customer inquiries and requests via phone and email.
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers about products and services
- Efficiently resolve customer queries.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow up as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain a structured customer journey from initial enquiry through to sales, production, delivery, post-sale communication and warranty.

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to take ownership and leadership of this program and complete tasks effectively and efficiently.

You may come from a CRM, customer experience, sales operations or a similar background.

Qualifications and Experience

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong understanding of customer journeys and sales processes.

Strong attention to detail and data management skills.

The ability to understand how different parts of a business operate and connect them through seamless systems and processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Confidence working with technology and learning new systems.

A practical, hands-on approach to process improvement.

The ability to work independently and take ownership in a lean business environment.

Experience managing or implementing a CRM system

Experience withinmanufacturing, automotive, caravans, retail, construction or another customer-led industry

An understanding of caravan manufacturing processes, including the relationship between sales, customer specifications, production, quality control, delivery and post-delivery support.
