As an Australian owned international freight forwarding services provider and container trading company, we're currently seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to provide support in the areas of financial processing, primarily in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable areas. If you are a dedicated, detail-oriented accounting qualified, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our company success and gain valuable experience.
Key responsibilities
- Full AP function - managing invoice matching/processing
- Full AR function - managing aged debtor report and chasing outstanding payments
- End of month and weekly reporting
- Providing support to the Finance and Accounting Manager as required
- End of month reconciliations
About you
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field
- At least two to 3 years of exceptional accounting and debt collection experience
- Brilliant skills in Excel, and prior experience using Xero and CargoWise Next will be beneficial
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Programs
- Brilliant organisational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be beneficial but not essential
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks
- Full, unrestricted work rights (Citizen or PR)
