Ox Engineering is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Perth workshop. You'll work on the build, repair and modification of mining and industrial equipment, with the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of compelling projects.

What You'll Be Doing

- Fitting, assembling and installing custom truck bodies including tilt trays, crane trucks, drill rigs and much more.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults




- Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on mining support equipment
- Working closely with boilermakers, tradespeople and supervisors to deliver quality builds
- Performing with commissioning, testing and final fit-out of bespoke equipment
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety

What We're Looking For

- Australian trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Experience in heavy industry, mining, drilling, transport, manufacturing or similar environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented attitude
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- HR driver's licence
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
- Welding or boilermaker experience
- Experience with hydraulic systems or mobile plant equipment
