Join a fast-growing, vertically integrated group operating in the manufacturing and building material supply space. We’re looking for an experiencedSenior Accountantto take ownership of the financial management acrosstwo companies within the groupand workdirectly with the Managing Director.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys taking initiative, and is passionate about improving financial systems and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial control across two companies
- Prepare monthly P&L;, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure BAS, PAYG, Super, and other compliance obligations are met
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Liaise with external accountants, tax agents, and auditors
- Improve and maintain MYOB/Xero systems and internal reporting processes
- Provide actionable insights to the Managing Director to support strategic decisions
- Identify and implement process efficiencies

About You

- 5+ years’ experience in a senior accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance
- Proficient with MYOB, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or CA qualified (preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Clear communicator with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Motivated to make a meaningful impact in a growing business
