Drive and Deliver

Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitator drivers providehigh levelsof customer service to ourclientsreceiving our products, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will bedifferent,there’snothing routine about this role!

About the role:

- Casual position based in Townsville!
- Hourly rate + 25% casual loading + super + overtime (rate X 1.5 after 8hours,rate X 2.0 after 10 hours).

- Most days will start between 2am and 7amand drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50-55hoursper week. Saturday work isgenerally available,paid atovertime rates

- Driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people youhaven’tmet before

- We providecutting edgetechnology to not only keep you protected whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.

- All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let youloosebyyourself.

About you:

- Minimum of HR license (essential) withpreviousdriving experience (preferred)

- You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them whenyou’reonsite

- You prefer variety in your working life.No twodays are ever the same whenyou’redriving one of our Agi trucks

- You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it awashand present the best image of our company.

- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites)
