OM Civil is currently seeking an Accounts Officer who has experience in the civil construction industry. We are experiencing significant growth in the urban development sector as we have a number of projects in the South East Queensland region.

To be considered for the role, you will have a minimum of 2 years recenthands on experience with processing accounts payable / receivable and have previously worked for a civil construction company.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

Proficient with accounting software and book keeping principles

Have intermediate to advanced computer skills – specifically Excel and Word

Work autonomously and to tight deadlines

Undertake other administrative support duties as requested

Strong administration, organisation and written English skills.

Bank Reconciliations

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

Qualified communicator with a positive attitude

Ability to manage your time efficiently, work independently with an eye for detail

Honest and reliable team player who is able to work well in a busy environment

Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly

Great phone manner

This is a casual position with the view to becoming permanent part-time based on availability.
