As a Casual Educator, you will work across different age groups and support the permanent team in providing safe, engaging and high-quality education and care.
Key responsibilities
- Building positive and meaningful relationships with children
- Engaging in play, learning experiences and conversations
- Supporting daily routines, meals, rest times and transitions
- Maintaining active supervision at all times
- Assisting with setting up and maintaining inviting learning environments
- Working alongside Room Leads and educators
- Following individual care, medical and behavioural support plans
- Supporting a positive, respectful and fun setting for children and educators

- Committed to child safety and active supervision
- Able to follow routines, policies and directions
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards an approved qualification
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain/update as required
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
- Availability to work casual shifts across operating hours
