To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to further strengthen our team.

Role of Mechanical Engineer

Due to current workload and new opportunities, we require a passionate, client-focused individual who can best meet our current and future needs in the mechanical engineering team. We want the right person to join this energetic team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform design and design verification in accordance with Australian Standards and client specifications.

- Conduct FEA using ANSYS and/or Strand7 (preferred).

- Develop engineering calculations and assessments to support design compliance and equipment integrity.

- Prepare clear, concise,



and professional technical reports.

- Manage multiple projects concurrently, including scope, schedule, and cost management.

- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical engineering solutions.

- Provide support for occasional site inspections and investigations.

- Prepare Scope of Works, estimates and high-quality proposals to meet our client’s project requirements.

Essential (“About you”)

- 2 - 5 years' experience designing and verifying mechanical equipment, pressure vessels, tanks and piping within Western Australia

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering and eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.

- Proven experience in FEA, structural assessment, and mechanical design verification.

- Strong report writing and technical communication skills.

- Experience producing engineering calculations in accordance with Australian Standards and client requirements.

- Intermediate CAD skills using Autodesk Inventor (preferred), SolidWorks, and/or AutoCAD.

- Strong project management and commercial awareness.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

- The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic consulting environment.





Desirable

- Previous experience in developing and maintaining Procedures/Libraries/Standardised Details

- Recent experience designing and/or working with mechanical equipment, pressure vessels, tanks and piping or similar within Western Australia

- Application and knowledge of relevant Australian Codes, Standards and Practices

- Experience using 3D software for design, FEA and documentation (Inventor and/or SolidWorks)

- Working knowledge of safety management and quality assurance systems
