South Melbourne

Quayclean is looking for an experienced and energetic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our People & Culture team and take a leading role in how we attract, engage and recruit great people across our business.

This is not your typical recruitment role.

We are evolving the way we recruit, recently launching our new Applicant Tracking System and moving towards a more centralised, consistent and proactive approach to talent acquisition.

Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, you will initially partner closely with our operations across 3 key states while taking responsibility for permanent and strategic recruitment nationally.

You will be equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to deliver high-volume recruitment campaigns as you are partnering with senior leaders on critical hires, developing talent pipelines, improving recruitment processes and using data to tell us where we can do better.

What you'll be doing

You will take ownership of recruitment across your portfolio and help shape the way Talent Acquisition operates across Quayclean.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end recruitment across designated operational portfolios, initially for three states, as well as permanent recruitment nationally
- Partnering with operational and executive leaders to understand current and future workforce requirements
- Building proactive talent pipelines to support business growth, seasonal demand, major events and new contract mobilisations
- Planning and delivering high-volume recruitment campaigns
- Supporting the recruitment of leadership, contract management and other permanent positions nationally
- Owning the day-to-day administration, governance and utilisation of our new Applicant Tracking platform
- Managing recruitment advertising channels and job boards including SEEK, LinkedIn and Indeed
- Managing candidate screening, shortlisting, interviews, offers and recruitment compliance
- Developing and managing employee and operational referral pipelines

- Tracking recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, vacancies, turnover and recruitment costs
- Using recruitment data and insights to identify opportunities to improve our processes and candidate experience
- Supporting Quayclean's commitment to building a diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.

The role will support both ongoing recruitment and larger workforce mobilisation requirements, including major events and new contract commencements.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who can operate in a fast-paced, operational environment, enjoys having genuine ownership of their portfolio and is excited by the opportunity to help build and improve a growing Talent Acquisition function.

You will ideally bring:

- Strong end-to-end recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience
- Experience within high-volume, blue-collar or operational recruitment
- Experience recruiting professional, leadership or salaried roles
- Experience delivering bulk recruitment campaigns or supporting large workforce mobilisations
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to partner with operational leaders
- Experience working with an ATS or recruitment platform
- The ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns and competing priorities simultaneously
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- An interest in recruitment data, systems and continuous improvement.

Experience with Humanforce is advantageous but not essential. The underlying PD prioritises experience in high-volume recruitment,

workforce mobilisation, recruitment systems and partnering with operational stakeholders.

Why Quayclean?

This is an opportunity to join Quayclean at a point where you can genuinely influence how Talent Acquisition operates across the organisation.

You won't be stepping into a rigid recruitment function. You'll have the opportunity to help us embed our new Talent platform, strengthen our recruitment processes, build better talent pipelines and continue developing a centralised recruitment model that can scale with our business.

You'll work closely with our People & Culture and Operations teams and have exposure to recruitment ranging from large-scale operational campaigns and major events through to key permanent appointments across Australia.

If you're a recruiter who loves the pace of operational recruitment but also wants the opportunity to build, improve and influence, we'd love to hear from you.
