About the role

This is a casual HC or MC Truck Driver position with Diesel & Dirt Haulage, a family-owned transport company based in Townsville specialising in machinery transport, general freight and oversized loads throughout North Queensland. This is predominantly local and regional work, with very minimal overnight work. The occasional overnight trip may be required, with applicable overnight allowances paid.

Key responsibilities

- HC/MC general freight

- Machinery and equipment transport

- Local Townsville work

- Regional North Queensland runs

- Loading and securing freight

- Pre-starts and basic vehicle checks

- Keeping trucks and equipment clean and well looked after

- Working safely and professionally with customers

About you

- Current HC or MC Driver Licence





- Heavy vehicle driving experience

- Good driving record

- Good load restraint knowledge

- Solid safety awareness

- Reliable and able to work independently

- A practical, common-sense approach

- Pride in the truck and equipment you operate

- Machinery transport and oversize experience is highly regarded but not essential
