About the role

You'll work across a broad range of residential and commercial installation and maintenance projects, rather than doing the same type of work every day. For a newly qualified electrician, this is an opportunity to continue developing your skills while having experienced tradespeople and strong office support behind you. For a 4th Year Apprentice, you'll get exposure to a wide range of work to help prepare you for becoming a capable and confident tradesperson.

Key responsibilities

- Residential electrical installations and maintenance

- Commercial installations and maintenance

- Fault finding and electrical repairs

- Switchboard upgrades and alterations

- Lighting and power installations

- Air conditioning electrical works

- Renovations and new installations

- Preventative and scheduled maintenance

- Testing, compliance and electrical safety work

- Working independently and alongside other members of the team

About you

- Currently a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice or newly qualified electrician

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Takes pride in their workmanship

- Positive attitude and willing to learn

- Can communicate professionally with customers





- Reliable and turns up ready to work

- Can work independently as experience develops

- Works well as part of a team

- Understands the importance of electrical safety and compliance

- Keeps work area, vehicle and job sites organised

About us

Inghams Electrical is looking for a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice or Newly Qualified Electrician to join our growing team. We operate a 9-day fortnight, provide a company vehicle for suitable employees to take home, supply required PPE, and offer strong office support for scheduling, customer communication and administration.
