About the Role

Join our road crew as a full time Maintenance Carpenter on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential for ongoing work as our team continues to grow. You’ll work across a variety of metropolitan and regional Victorian sites on national contracts - no two days are the same. You’ll also participate in an on-call rotating roster, with additional earning opportunities through overtime.

What You’ll Do

- Perform general carpentry and joinery duties, including measuring, cutting, and shaping materials.

- Construct and repair building frameworks and structures, including plaster repairs.

- Complete first and second fix tasks, such as installing skirting boards and architraves.

- Install and repair structures and fixtures, including door and window installations and replacements.

- Carry out minor tiling repairs and replacements as needed.

- Inspect and replace damaged frameworks, structures, or fixtures to ensure functionality and safety.

- Conduct general maintenance checks and repairs, following client quotes and requirements.

- Respond to service calls, including after-hours jobs,



with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Work independently or as part of a team, supporting senior staff when needed.

- Apply strong safety practices, attention to detail, and effective time management in all tasks.

What You’ll Bring

- Certificate or qualification in Carpentry (essential)

- Hands-on experience in commercial or maintenance work (highly regarded)

- White Card (essential)

- Valid Driver’s Licence (essential — multi-site role)

- Maintenance or government/commercial contract experience (highly regarded)
