We're looking for a Credit Analyst to assess loan applications, manage credit risk and help us deliver responsible lending outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assess and make decisions on consumer loan applications.

- Analyse income, expenses, liabilities, credit history and bank transactions.

- Review supporting documentation and identify inconsistencies or potential fraud.

- Apply credit policy and responsible lending requirements.

- Make sound, commercially balanced credit decisions.

- Escalate complex or higher-risk applications where appropriate.

- Maintain accurate records of credit assessments and decisions.

- Work with operations and customer-facing teams to resolve application queries.

- Contribute to improving credit policies, processes and lending strategy.

About You

You're analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable making decisions based on information. You enjoy solving problems, asking the right questions and taking ownership of your work.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field

- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information and identify patterns.





- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing applications and information.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Confident working with numbers, spreadsheets and data.

- Ability to assess information objectively and make decisions based on established guidelines.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Highly organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Rapid learner with a genuine interest in finance, lending and financial technology.

- Comfortable learning new systems, software and processes.

- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and contribute to a team.

Desirable

- Previous experience in lending or credit.

- Exposure to reviewing bank statements or financial information.

- Basic understanding of credit risk and responsible lending.

- Previous experience in banking, finance or financial services.

- Strong interest in fintech and consumer lending.
