About the role
You will work with dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities within a structured environment focused on enrichment, education, wellbeing and protected canine handling.
Key responsibilities
- Handling and supervising groups of dogs
- Training and behavioural work
- Walking, enrichment and structured activities
- Cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards
- Supporting daily operations and client interactions
- Working both independently and as part of a team
About you
- Is kind, patient and calm in nature
- Genuinely loves working with dogs
- Understands this is physically and mentally demanding work
- Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Is fit, healthy, energetic and adaptable
- Demonstrates a fitness level to meet the physical demands of dog handling and supervision
- Can think on their feet and remain calm under pressure
- Has great communication and teamwork skills
- Is reliable, professional and willing to learn
- Understands canine body language and safe handling practices
- Minimum one year of qualified dog handling experience is required for this position
- All candidates must hold valid Australian work rights to be considered for this role
